Daniele Clarke is a child and adolescent psychotherapist. She was born in Brazil where she completed her Bachelor in Psychology with Honours and specialized in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She is a founding member of the Cognitive Therapy Association – Rio de Janeiro and a Level 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association.

Her training and approach incorporates (CBT), Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT), mindfulness skills and the Sleep Sense™ training program. Daniele is passionate about childhood behaviour and how sleep can affect the health and wellbeing of young people. She is the director of the Child Behaviour Centre which has a focus on improving child sleep and development by using cognitive behaviour techniques that are research based and effective.

She has also been an Education Advisor at the Australia Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) since 2010, a job she loves as she has the chance to guide new counsellors through their journey of acquiring their qualifications.

Daniele is married and has one daughter, who inspired her to become a certified sleep consultant. After successfully shaping her daughter’s sleep patterns, routine and cognitive development, Daniele began to successfully help family, friends and clients using the same sensible approach.
